The most common cancer among women is malignant breast tumors. Most often metastases develop in the axillary lymph nodes. All lymphatic tissues in the armpits are removed surgically, which can lead to breast lymphostasis.

ISSUE
SOLUTION
The lymphoscope allows the surgeon to differentiate lymphatic outflows from different lymph nodes on an open wound. By manipulating only the system of functioning lymph nodes without affecting the system of healthy lymph nodes, the surgeon can save most of the lymphatic nearby human systems.

CONCEPT

The patient is injected with contrast in the axillary and sentinel lymph nodes of the breast. The main reagents are two contrasts: methylene blue solution (MB) and green indocyanin solution (ICG).
The device contains 2 sources of excitatory radiation (appropriate to each of the fluorescent dyes) and illumination of the working area with visible white light.
ICG and MB become well contrasted in the red and infrared spectrum. The device allows you to distinguish colored lymph nodes with augmented reality.
